AI-Enabled Cloud Engineering for U.S. Central Command's Intelligence Directorate
Customer
U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM), J2 Intelligence Directorate
The Mission

USCENTCOM’s J2 Intelligence Directorate needed a technical partner who could deliver DevSecOps engineering and AI/ML infrastructure across multiple, simultaneous security domains — without slowing down the pace of intelligence operations

What Deploy360 Delivered
  • DevSecOps engineering services spanning TS/SCI, Secret, and Unclassified domains
  • Data management platforms and reusable analytic modules built for reuse across the enterprise
  • Secure data visualization dashboards for intelligence analysts
  • OSINT software accredited for multi-domain deployment
Results & Impact

Deploy360 has continuously supported this task order since March 2019 — through four option years and
counting — a track record the customer’s prime contractor has formally rated as exceptional.

“D360’s management performance consistently surpasses contractual requirements, again yielding
substantial benefits for both the Government and the prime contractor. They practice exceptional adherence
above and beyond contractual obligations, marked by very few, always minor management challenges. Their
corrective actions have proven to be highly effective in swiftly resolving issues before they become
programmatic problems.”

DevSecOps Transformation for U.S. European Command's Knowledge Management Division
Customer
U.S. European Command (EUCOM),
Information Superiority & Knowledge Management (ISKM) Division
The Mission

EUCOM’s ISKM Division needed to modernize command-wide knowledge management — moving off an aging, on-premises SharePoint 2010 environment and into a modern, cloud-based DevSecOps ecosystem — all while meeting the accreditation rigor required of an OCONUS DoD network.

What Deploy360 Delivered
  • Migrated EUCOM’s knowledge management environment from SharePoint 2010 to SharePoint 2019 across NIPR, SIPR, and MPE domains

  • Redesigned and migrated the software test-and-development lab from on-prem infrastructure to a Microsoft Azure cloud environment

  • Built a new hub/spoke Azure DevOps lab (Hub, Service, and Workstation VNETs) with Azure Firewall inspection and STIG-compliant configuration, achieving a full Authority to Operate (ATO) at Impact Level 4

  • Delivered a new Strategic Combined Command Calendar and a rebuilt Joint Personnel Accountability Database (JPAD), using Angular/React front-ends on ASP.NET Core Web API back-ends

  • Prepared the complete RMF/eMASS accreditation package — checklists, ACAS/SCAP security scans, POA&M, System Security Plan, Security Assessment Report, PPSM, and DITPR registration

  • Transitioned the ISKM development team to Agile/Scrum methodologies, GitFlow version control, and CI/CD pipelines using Artifactory
Results & Impact

The new Azure DevOps lab became EUCOM’s first Authority to Operate for a Zone B cloud-based Test & Development network — and the first Mil-cloud environment achieved by any OCONUS DoD organization.

“After operating under interim permissions for over a year, our Unclassified Cloud-based Test & Development Lab has been officially authorized for use at EUCOM. Not only is this a first for EUCOM, but also is a first Mil- cloud environment for any OCONUS DoD organization. This allows us seamless reliable access to development projects and industry tools; it saves us money by only charging for what we use and is scalable to adapt for other users. I can’t possibly articulate the amount of paperwork, scans, patches, and tests that it took to get to this point, but we are immensely proud of the work done by the team.” — ISKM Division Chief, U.S. European Command

Digital Forensics and Identity Intelligence Support for U.S. Special Operations Command in Africa
Customer
U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM),
J2 Directorate / Joint DOMEX Operations Group (JDOG)
The Mission

SOCOM J2’s Technical Exploitation (TECHEX) mission needed cleared cyber experts, senior software engineers, and forward-deployed forensic examiners who could deliver real-time identity intelligence — enabling Special Operations Forces targeting and decision-making both stateside and in theater.

What Deploy360 Delivered
  • Built and sustained JDOG examiner and translator applications — including the SOFEX Upload Document
Application, SOFEX Redirector and Website Program Opener, Golden Retriever Web Application, and DT3/DT Search Cross-Correlation Application — using C#, .NET Framework and .NET Core, and SQL Server/Oracle back-ends

  • Deployed TECHEX examiners both CONUS (Tampa) and OCONUS (Niger, Mali, and Burkina Faso) to perform hands-on digital forensics

  • Trained fellow I2O/JDOG examiners on advanced cell-phone forensic techniques and led training for examiners carrying Enabler kits in deployed environments

  • Delivered capability briefs to JEDIC at Fort Bragg/JSOC
Results & Impact
  • Deploy360 examiners recovered data from a smartphone that the FBI and multiple three-letter agencies had been unable to access for over a month — cracking it within 24 hours.

  • Deploy360 reconstructed a device image that appeared to be wiped, carving out data at the machine-level
(hexadecimal) code to recover a contact list written in Arabic.

  • Deploy360 reconstructed both a hardware RAID and a software Linux RAID to recover and view previously
locked-down data for analysis, and repaired a badly water-damaged device to fully extract its data.

  • No major performance issues were recorded on this contract; Deploy360 maintained a strong working relationship with the government and prime contractor and consistently met or exceeded performance expectations throughout the period of performance.
